Jake Fondel
Attorney Jake Fondel joined Atlas Law Center in September 2025. Jake earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois–Chicago. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2025. Specializing in employment law, Jake provides clients with top-tier legal support, advocating for those facing discrimination and workplace violations.
A first-generation attorney, Jake distinguished himself in law school through dedication, kindness, and hard work. He served as a Senator for both the Student Bar Association and the Student Government Organization at DePaul, advocating for fellow students and ensuring access to resources and support. Notably, he collaborated with DePaul’s administration to help establish the university’s first health insurance program for students. During law school, he also received the Michael Curry Internship Award and worked part-time roles to support his education while participating in advocacy organizations aligned with his passions.
Jake began his professional journey with part-time work during high school and college, later gaining experience in employment, housing, and consumer law within the Illinois government. At Atlas Law Center, he focuses on employment law, representing clients under statutes such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and other local laws. His work centers on protecting the rights of individuals who have experienced workplace discrimination or retaliation.
Jake’s combination of legal expertise, advocacy experience, and commitment to client-centered service makes him a trusted advocate. He is dedicated to problem-solving, providing top legal services, and supporting clients throughout complex employment matters, ensuring they can approach their cases with confidence and peace of mind.
