Chasidy K. Clark

Chasidy K. Clark joined Atlas Law Center in September 2025, where she represents clients in employment. Her practice is grounded in a commitment to helping individuals navigate challenging legal circumstances and ensuring that people have access to knowledgeable and compassionate legal representation when they need it most.

Experience & Approach

Chasidy earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2022. During law school, she served as President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and as a Student Senator at UIC Law. She also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Angela Petrone in the Criminal Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, gaining valuable experience observing and participating in the judicial process.

As a 711 Licensed Student Attorney with the UIC Law Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, Chasidy provided legal assistance to clients while developing practical litigation and advocacy skills. These experiences strengthened her understanding of the importance of accessible legal representation and reinforced her commitment to serving individuals facing significant legal challenges.

Chasidy currently serves as the President (Pelekikena) of Chicago’s Native Hawaiian Civic Club, continuing her involvement in community leadership and service. Her professional and community experiences have shaped her approach to practicing law with empathy, diligence, and a focus on understanding each client’s individual circumstances.

Chasidy’s practice includes employment law, immigration, guardianships, and family law. She works to help clients understand their legal options and navigate the legal system with greater confidence and clarity.

Why I Practice Law

A theme that became apparent to Chasidy at a very young age was the importance of having access to legal resources and representation during times of need—and the harsh reality of having limited access to either.

Growing up, Chasidy witnessed firsthand the power and peace of mind that comes from having a compassionate and well-prepared advocate. Despite the odds and limited resources, her family had the great fortune of receiving assistance from a pro bono attorney who went above and beyond in helping them and remained a part of their lives as Chasidy grew up.

Later, after beginning to work various jobs at the age of 14, Chasidy saw and experienced situations that warranted legal resolution but could not always be pursued because of limited resources. These experiences reinforced her desire to advocate for the rights of vulnerable individuals.

It was through these experiences and her understanding of the importance of meaningful legal representation that Chasidy chose to study law. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult circumstances and ensuring that they have an advocate who listens, understands, and works diligently on their behalf.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Chasidy enjoys learning new languages, even if she does not always master them. She also loves spending time near large bodies of water and playing volleyball.
